Mohamed Ahmed

Mohamed Ahmed, better known as Skinz, is one of the best-known names in Danish music. He is a multi-platinum artist, and many Danes also know him from the Danish edition of Dancing with the Stars.
Away from music, food has always been a big part of how Skinz experiences a place. When he travels, he skips the restaurants with the most reviews and looks for the places locals actually go: the Sunday breakfast spot, the small family restaurant with one unforgettable dish, the bar people would miss if it closed tomorrow.
That instinct is what he brings to STAN. As co-founder, he wants everyone to be able to find those places, whether they are at home in Copenhagen or in a city they have never visited before.

Rasmus Lythcke is the founder of the award-winning travel blog TheTravelBook and works as a travel photographer and author. For almost a decade he has travelled with a focus on food, local experiences and sustainable tourism. His latest book is the travel guide COOLCATION.

Over the years, Rasmus became the person friends ask before every trip. Today more than 40 messages a month land in his inbox with the same question: where should I eat? STAN started as his answer, a place to share his recommendations once and let others do the same.

Some of his best meals began with a local pointing him away from where everyone else was going. With STAN, he wants to make that kind of advice available to anyone, anywhere.

We don't believe there is one best restaurant in the world. We believe in finding people whose taste you share, and following them to places you would never have found on your own.
